We tell you how we work: tellmeGen is the brand of GENELINK, an authorized health center in Spain, and the interpretation of your data is done by our team of geneticists, bioinformaticians, and medical doctors. We analyze your sample in European laboratories, our software is under evaluation by BSI for CE-IVD marking, and, with Advanced, you receive more than 430 reports, with free lifetime updates and DNA Connect.
432 reports: 107 on genetic vulnerability to health conditions, 102 hereditary conditions, 95 pharmacogenetics, 84 personal traits, and 44 wellness reports, in addition to ancestry (93 populations, haplogroups, and Neanderthal DNA) and DNA Connect.
Register your kit, take the sample by rubbing the inside of your cheeks with the swab, and send it back with the return envelope, at no cost. You will have your results in your private area between 4 and 6 weeks after the laboratory receives your sample. In Spain, before shipping, a doctor evaluates the prescription of the test.
Your results are only seen by you in your private area. We treat your genetic data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and do not share them with third parties without your explicit consent. Check the details in our privacy policy.
We use Illumina technology microarrays, with internal quality controls that include marker repetition, and only markers that pass those controls are used. Variants estimated by imputation are especially reliable when they are frequent. Results with health implications must be confirmed with a clinical test before making decisions.
