Did you know that your genetics influence how your body responds to food? With our nutrigenetic report, you will understand how to adapt your diet to your genetic needs and improve your well-being.

From the Genetics Department of tellmeGen, we offer you personalized information and nutritional support based on your genetic test.

How does it work?

We create your nutrigenetic report using the results of your DNA test and a questionnaire designed to further explore your profile. If you do not complete the questionnaire, the report will only be generated with the information available on the tellmeGen platform.

Here’s what you’ll learn from your report:

• Your body’s response to diet: discover which type of diet is most suitable for you according to your genes, utilizing your Wellness and Personal Traits results.
• Nutritional recommendations for diseases*: if you have a genetic predisposition to certain diseases, we will provide advice on how to reduce those risks through your diet, or the recommended diet if you are already suffering from the condition.
• Compatibility between your medication and diet*: if you are taking medication, we help you know which foods might interfere with them, providing you with a tailored nutrition plan.
• Example of a weekly nutrition plan: we provide you with an example of how to organize your week to stay healthy with your new recommendations.
• Practical recipe examples.
• Tips on how to read nutritional labels.

*If you are a Starter user, only the survey will be taken into account in this section. If you are an Advanced user, we will also consider your genetic results in the diseases section. That’s why we recommend completing the survey.

We do not create weight loss diet plans, but we help prevent nutritional deficiencies and improve your overall well-being.

What do we need from you?

We will ask you to complete a questionnaire and, if possible, send us your latest blood test (cholesterol, uric acid, vitamins, etc.) along with the questionnaire. This is not mandatory, but it will help us make your report even more personalized.

When will you receive your report?

The report will be ready within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on demand and business days.

The report will be sent via email in the language chosen by the user, preferably in English or Spanish, but we also offer German, Italian, Portuguese, French, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Russian, Japanese, Finnish, and Norwegian. By default, the nutritional genetic test will be done in Spanish for users in Spanish-speaking countries and in English for users in non-Spanish-speaking countries, unless another language is requested.

Privacy and security: We guarantee the protection of your data using the latest encryption technology; only you and your genetic advisor will be able to access your report.
