How does the DNA Connect internal messaging service work?

Updated on

The DNA Connect messaging service allows you to interact with your genetic relatives privately and securely. Within your private account, in the DNA Connect section, you will be able to see your genetic family. To send a message, you simply have to select the relative you wish to communicate with.

When you receive a message from a relative or when they contact you, a red bell will appear in the upper right part of your account, indicating that you have new messages. Additionally, you will receive an email notifying you of the new interaction or when you have new relatives in the application.

The chat is completely private, and only the participants in the conversation—meaning you and your genetic relative—can read the messages, respecting the highest standards of security and privacy.
