The tellmeGen genetic test is offered in three modalities: Starter, Advanced, and Ultra WGS (30x), each with different levels of detail and information.
- Starter: This analysis includes around 130 reports on personal traits, Wellness, and ancestry (including maternal and paternal haplogroups and Neanderthal DNA percentage). It does not include health information.
- Advanced: This is the most comprehensive analysis and offers more than 420 reports. In addition to reports on personal traits, Wellness, and ancestry, it includes information on your genetic vulnerability to health conditions, hereditary conditions, and pharmacogenetics. This analysis provides a deeper overview of your genetic predisposition and personal characteristics.
- Ultra WGS (30x): It contains more than 600 reports, including everything from the Advanced analysis and expanding it with a full genome reading (30x), which allows for the identification of rare and structural variants such as copy number variants, large insertions/deletions, rearrangements, and tandem repeats. This analysis is the most detailed, allowing for a more exhaustive exploration of the genome.
All three analyses include access to DNA Connect, a service that allows you to find and interact with genetic relatives in our database. Furthermore, all reports are continuously updated with new scientific discoveries.
In summary, Advanced is the most comprehensive regarding health and wellness, while Ultra WGS (30x) offers a deeper genetic analysis thanks to whole genome sequencing. All reports are updated periodically (Starter and Advanced are free for our users, and Ultra via the annual tellmeGen+ subscription), providing a personalized approach to improve your health and quality of life.
